Botox at the Dentist?

by Sandi on March 18, 2010

I never dreamt I’d be writing about Botox or Juvederm but here I go.  For those of you who know me personally, you know I’m a pretty low maintenance kind of gal.  I’m the type who gets acrylic nails only to have them flake away piece by piece because I can’t seem to get back in once a month to keep ‘em looking nice.   When we started considering advanced certification in Botox and Juvederm, I needed some convincing.  Being the researcher that I am, I started investigating, particularly the idea of it being offered by a dentist.  Quite honestly, if I wanted Botox I’d have it done by my husband anyway because he’s the most gentle guy with a needle that I’ve ever come across and I’m a bit on the wimpy side.  But the more research I did the more it made sense to me to be offering it as part of our other dental related services.  Dentists not only spend their entire day focusing only on facial anatomy but Tim also gives all his own injections.  He gives 10-20 shots a day for procedures significantly more difficult than administering facial enhancers and the ability to change people’s smiles with lip fillers and wrinkle removers seemed like a great service to compliment cosmetic tooth services like veneers and whitening that we already offer.

We’re pleased to announce certification from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics for these advanced procedures.  No doubt these services are not for everyone but we want to always be cutting edge with our service and education advancements.  Now, if I could just get my acrylic nails looking as good as my forehead  . . .

You are also invited to our Smile and Facial Enhancement Day on April 5th for free bleaching trays with any Botox or Juvederm services (a $350 value).  One day only by appointment.  Our Facebook special for the month of May will be a drawing for free Botox.  To be automatically entered, just become a fan of our Facebook page here:  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Centennial-CO/LittletonDentistry
