Do Your Kids Love Basketball? Check out The Edge!

Today I want to send a shout out to the Opheim family who got our family connected with a top notch sports program in the south Denver area.  To say that I’m married to a sports enthusiast is putting it mildly, but particularly in the area of basketball.  Although Tim may not mention his own basketball history much, he was a record holder in high school and has a love for the game that makes him passionate about ensuring his own kids are taught the sport correctly.  Quite frankly, I didn’t think we’d find a program around that met with his approval until we tried The Edge.  Coach Mike O’Connell not only knows his stuff but coaches in a way that demands excellence while encouraging kids in a positive environment.  For a reasonable monthly fee kids can attend unlimited gym sessions any day of the week (except Thursdays when it’s break night).  It’s held at Collegiate Academy, located just north of C470 & Kipling.  If you have a child who loves basketball we encourage you to check out The Edge.  You can find their site at: http://theedgebasketball.net/philosophy.html
