We accept MasterCard and Visa, as well as personal checks. If you prefer deferred payments, we are pleased to offer several plans through Care Credit. Call our dental office for more information or visit www.carecredit.com.
Dental Insurance
We work with most insurance companies and accept assignment of benefit. As a courtesy, we will file all paperwork on your behalf. We do not accept managed care (HMO, DHMO) plans, but we do work with most PPO plans and are considered “Preferred Providers” of several PPOs. If you have questions about using your insurance at our office, please ask us to call your insurance company for benefit information so that you know what to expect and don't have to face unexpected expenses. We also accept all Indemnity plans or plans where you can choose your own dentist without referring to a Provider list.
Fees
On occasion, we have potential new patients call to ask about our fees. A basic new patient appointment consists of the following:
A new patient comprehensive exam by the doctor, full periodontal charting by the hygienist, a basic adult cleaning (no periodontal disease) and full X-rays. The cost for the entire first visit is about $270. Most insurance plans consider these charges as “preventive” although we are happy to verify any insurance benefits prior to your appointment as sometimes co-pays do apply. Patients with periodontal disease are coded differently and are often rescheduled for a more in-depth cleaning. We are pleased to consider Vizilite oral cancer screening as an additional, recommended service to your visit. The cost is $65, which may or may not be covered by your dental insurance.
We believe you’ll appreciate that Dr. Boeyink’s schedule is not designed to rush through high volumes of patients as quickly as possible. It’s specifically tailored to allocate enough time so that you can talk with the doctor directly and have all of your questions answered, one patient at a time. We don’t aim to be the cheapest, but we do strive to give you a refreshing, un-rushed dental experience where you receive the value you deserve.
